We decided that we would put them in whatever we wanted and I'm making a scrappy quilt for myself (which is taking a long to finish!!), so I'll be adding my sisters blocks to it. She is wonderful at appliquing, and I'm so tickled that she made a lot of my blocks with it.

This is such a great idea. Mom gave me her machine, my daughter doesn't sew at all. And I don't have a sister. Dunno why, but never got into swaps. Too big maybe?

I guess I have to say that Mexican Star is my favorite. I have made 3 quilts and another planned.

Kristen, I was so excited to see this post, thinking maybe this wonderful site was accessible again. May I ask how you get in? I've been unable to for more than a year or so.

Thanks!
