What is your favorite blog?
I love blogs. I just run across a lot of them. I would really like to find some more. Any favorite blogs out there that you want to share?

I just happened on to Quilting in the Rain last week. She has a new baby so she doesn't blog a lot . ..
http://quiltingintherain.blogspot.com/ http://sewmamasew.com/ http://www.cluckclucksew.com/ |
I forgot to mention my favorite... www.ihaveanotion.blogspot.com. She usually shows new gadgets and comments on whether she likes them or not. She also has a store to go along with her blog. I also go to www.sewmamasew.com!
|
I really like this one
http://patchworktimes.com |
My most favorite blogs aren't quilt related. I love http://www.cakewrecks.com/ and http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/
and of course what would a day be without some LOLcats. http://icanhascheezburger.com/ |
|
I have a couple of new favorites:
http://www.quilthollow.com/ http://heartspunquilts.blogspot.com/ My all time favorites are Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville blog and Barbara Brackman's Material Culture at http://barbarabrackman.blogspot.com/ |
Thank you all for sharing your favorite blogs. I have been reading ALL of them. I am going back, right this minute, and continue to read older posts on the blogs! These are fantastic. I knew there would be some great blogs you all would mention. Even the ones not about quilting! Well, back I go to reading them...
|
My favorite blog is crochet related. Lots of color. http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/
I love "Quilting in the Rain" as well. |
I also like maryquilts.com as well as many already listed here
Suzy |
ditto on Bonnie Hunter's blog. there's so much on it, years of it actually. Only thing I don't like about Bonnie's blog is there is no "search" function (or maybe i missed it--and haven't found it yet). so if you are looking for something in particular, it is impossible to find.
also like MissouriStar Quiltco with jenny doan and heirloom creations. she does demo on sewing machine feet for quilting as well as demo on rulers. |
I love Leah Day's blog and videos. http://freemotionquilting.blogspot.c...tart-here.html
And of course, Missouri Star Quilting blog |
|

My favorites:
http://fussycut.blogspot.com/ (fabulous fresh modern quilts) http://camilleroskelley.typepad.com/simplify/ (I love seeing what Camille is coming up, though my bank account bleeds a little with each new blog post) http://distantpickles.blogspot.com/ (some friends of mine) http://freshlypieced.blogspot.com/ (more fresh happy quilts) And I am also fond of my blog ;) link in siggy |
Thank you. I have enjoyed looking at some blogs I wasn't aware of.
|
Me and My Sister designs, Quilty Pleasures, Comfortstitching, Little Acorns, Spun Sugar Quilts, Simplify, Minick & Simpson, The Painted Quilt, Little Pieces Of My Life, Lovely Little Handmades, Vintage Grey, ....just to name a few. Have more. They each have something different that I enjoy.
|
Jaybird Quilts, Alamode, a little bit biased, greenfairy quilts, moda bakeshop, ps i quilt, happy zombie, oh frannson - and many others - sometimes I just go to those blogs and link to other blogs.
|
I have dozens and dozens bookmarked but here are a few of my favorites. :)

Among many others already listed: Fibermania, Esch House Quilts, Lily's Quilts, Quilt Inspiration, The Quilting Edge, Tallgrass Prairie Studio, Walks in the Woods. I get daily updates through Google Reader and spend a half hour every morning with my coffee and blog updates. So many good ideas, so little time ....
|
I love Bonnie Hunter's too!
|
Some of my favorites are:
Judi Hurwitt, mixed media and textile artist, great tute on stamp making - http://approachable-art.blogspot.com/ Laura Wasilowski, a true genius with fusible web, great resource for embroidery stitches - http://artfabrik.blogspot.com/ Holly Knott, quilter, photographer, website designer, etc who shares great info on all of it - http://fingerlakesart.blogspot.com/ |
I love Bonnie Hunter's quiltville quilts n snips. She posts every day and always has neat pictures to show where she has been and what she has been teaching.
|
Without naming specific blogs, I enjoy those that inspire me to do more quilting. I don't usually gravitate to the giveaways or tutorials. I open up my favorites--see what they are working on--comment on occasion---and keep blog hopping. It is so addicting, but also motivating! I feel like if they can get so much done, why can't I???
|
I've been following CJ Tinkle since she was living in an RV and was "The Wandering Quilter". Now she blogs about sewing, embroidery, longarm quilting, country living and the property her and her husband are going to build a house on.

My favorite is www.LynBrown.com She has lots of wonderful free patterns and instructions/tutorials.
|
I like many of the above (others I didn't know about until now), I also love www.bitchystitcher.com because she makes me laugh!
