I can't say that I really have a favorite color to work with. I make my quilts according to what the recipient wants, not always my choices. I like light, bright colors, not too crazy about the really dark quilts.

I personally love all the reds and every quilt needs a little yellow.

I love purples. as well as realistic flowers and nature themes. Also love the old fashioned quilt fabrics that have the small flowers on dark solid background. dont know what they call it as I havent had my first coffee yet. LOL

Lets see: blue, purple, orange, black, green, red, and last but not least, yellow. A bit of yellow goes a LONG way. grin. Needless to say I like them all, do not lean toward pastels though.

Yellow and Purple

Are you talking about pink and brown together. I am making a pink quilt for my grand daughter and am having a hard time deciding what color to put with pink. If it is brown, what shade. I would like to keep the quilt to 2 or 3 colors if possible. If you have any ideas, please let me know. The pattern will be a simple block like log cabin, or triangles.

My all time favorite color is purple, but my favorite quilt color is green.

Clear colors mixed with White. Just love the crisp fresh look. Also love the Old Fashion Floral Pastels, esp Roses...sigh....

love yellow. The softer the better.
