My favorite is Len's Mills, followed by Fabric Land. There is also a great thrift store right beside Len's Mills that sells fabric as well, so go to one then the other in one trip....awesome! |

On-line I like Hancocks of Paducah and Missouri Star Quilting, I have never been disappointed with either. In person, I agree with the response "never been in one I didn't love", although when we were out west last summer I really fell in love with a beautiful store in Bozeman Montana. I spent over $100 there and if I didn't have to worry about fitting anything in my already bulging luggage I could have bought a lot more. Everything in that store called to me.

I love Loose Threads in Milton, WI for it's wide variety of fabric, lovely samples and helpful people. Also love Twin Turtle Quilts in Clinton, WI because it's only 5 miles away and is a gathering spot for local quilters. Theresa sponsors a PMS Day every month--piecing, munching and socializing. She also designs quilt and is a talented long armer.

I agree with some of the ones I've read. I love whichever one I'm in at the present time. I love shop hops. My stash is calling me right now as it needs to be reduced to a lower level. I don't need to shop for anything, but I always find something I can't lvie without. Then I need something to go with whatever I'm working on.

My favorite is Calico Station, Orange Park, Florida. If I order online, it's Fabric.com.

Any in the Amish Country in Holmes county, Ohio. Mrs. Miller's in Charm, Granma Fanny's in Walnut Creek, Helping Hands in Berlin, the list goes on and on. Locally I love Quilts and Kreations in South Amherst, Ohio. Good customer service and lots of selection.

Asking me to provide the name of my favorite quilt store is like asking me which child I love the most...each store is different and has something to offer! Colorado is loaded with really neat stores, and I am lucky to have FOUR quilt stores within easy driving distance. On road trips, we stop at quilt stores along the way. Once my DH saw a quilt store sign on the freeway and suggested we go find it. It turned out to be a shop inside a lovely house and the owner was chatty and directed us to a couple local places of interest.
