Congrats on your Garage sale score! My fave is 1/2 sq triangles with light and dark - put together like barn raising. I'm sure there is a name for this pattern. When I get the borders on I'll post pics. A good use for charms or scraps. Makes a good background too if you like to applique vines and flowers over it.

I love using up scraps when I make my Ohio Star quilts - my favorite!

The one in the pic I had longarm quilted. The first 5 I quilted myself on either my Pfaff or a Juki TL98. I'm making two more of them and they'll be quilted on my Janome 6600.

I just finished my first scrappy and now I'm hooked. I used a Jacob's Ladder block.
