Have seen a few posts showing zentangle quilts. They look very small and like art quilts. Is that it or is there more to it.

Good question. I wondered the same thing. I did a search on the Internet and found several examples and definitions, but none seemed very concrete -- still confused.

We used to call it doodling, now they call it Zentangle :D:D:D

It's doodling doing double duty as high art and a relaxation technique.
Someone had the brilliant idea to brand and market it.
Then someone saw how the doodles easily translate to quilting via FMQ.

you can't charge as much for doodles. :lol:
