I discovered Free Motion Machine Embroidery a few months ago and am hooked. Although, I admit mine are nothing to brag about....I am having a blast learning and creating.

Jelly Roll Races! I think it's because I really need to get several smaller quilts made in a relative short time & these go fast (tho I'm not nearly as speedy as evidently other people are). Plus they seem to be versatile enough to use with a number of very different fabric types.
I do go in "phases". Not long ago it was "Yellow Brick Road" quilts. And I may not be over that one quite yet either... LOL! |
Modern quilts - they are really growing on me - I love the geometric shapes and just opens up a whole new world of quilting - also have been trying my hand at curved piecing - really fun to learn a new skill.

Really my problem is I want to do them all, andI just have no time! I just finished my first one and can't wait to start another.

My obsession right now is Winding Ways--I've made 3 so far.

I don't watch much TV, but want to be with my DH and now I can at least be "quilting" while in the living room with him instead of sitting idle!

I think I am obsessed with making a scrappy quilt....I love them!

I have been appliqueing a lot, but I want to do a modern quilt with batiks and white background.
I went thru a bird phase and it probably isn't over yet. Here are a couple of my bird door hangings. |
