What's your favorite computerized design site?

I just got an Avante with Pro-stitcher and I am looking for the best sites to download some designs. A site that had frequent sales or specials would be great, but of course my main concern is that the designs stitch out well.

I would be very thankful for recommendations.

Trish

You need to find what works best with your machine and your thread. Most sites will offer free designs for you to test their designs before buying.

urbanelementz.com has a free pattern download section. I order from them often and they are friendly and reliable.

I have bought some from annebright.com. They sew up great!

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I will definitely be checking out those sites.

I post this separately because I am sure that it will be deleted and don't want my thank you to be deleted with it.

I originally posted this morning and when the post reached the bottom of the page I posted again saying "No one has suggestions?" I readily admit that I was hoping for opinions quickly. My husband let me get the machine of my dreams and I trust the opinions of the people on this board.

I was very disheartened when I logged back in this afternoon to the following private message from an admin. I will probably be deleted from the forum for speaking my mind but if that is the attitude of admins I don't really care. Way to take the fun out of the hobby for people.

I love intelligentquilting.com and mycreativestitches.com Intelligent quilting offers daily specials and also have some free patterns. Creative stitches has a section of $5 patterns that change monthly.

That's the site I couldn't remember the name of. Thank you so much.

All I can say is wow. how disappointing. I didn't know it was considered bumping. I also have to say urbanelementz.com, and Creative Stitches is good. Most of them you can join their emails for sales, new designs and the 5 dollar patterns are a steal

Do they have computerized designs now? I was under the impression that they sold pantos only....?

emblibrary.com is my go to site for designs. Check them out.

justflyingin 06-01-2015 08:14 PM

emblibrary.com is also my go-to site. They have a LOT of designs, frequent sales --every week, in fact, plus if you bought during the last month, even one design, you get a Happy Hour deal from Friday-Sun night which often includes things like 10 for $10.10 or half price on design packs, etc.

They also have a FB page, which will show you the new sales, plus when you sign in, you have a complete record of what you bought and you can redownload it at any time. if you start to buy something you already bought, it tells you, "You have already bought design nr. 0000 in order nr. 000232132

This board isn't as "free" as a FB group, and as such, there aren't as many replies. You have to be more patient here, but usually people reply--and often lots and lots of people reply.

I just added seven sites to my list. Thanks so much.

I can't speak to how well these designs actually work, but I do like the style:

http://sewswell.com

They seem like they would be great for redwork but they don't have simplified designs.

patmadrid 06-02-2015 07:58 AM

Quiltscomplete.com is also a good site.

Terry in the ADK 06-02-2015 03:02 PM

Sorry the site didn't work for you .I think I spelled it correctly. Just Google Embroidery Library and You should find it.

I get most of my computerized designs at Munnich Designs. Think I have all of them up to this date. Also like the designs found at Intelligent Quilting and One Song. I don't download all the freebies I find though, only the ones I think I might use in the future. Don't want to clog up my computer with more than I can use.

Emboidery library she has good designs and runs sales and specials, there are also free ones to download each month.

partsalot 06-03-2015 11:37 AM

Designs by Deb is also a good one, currently having a sale as well.
