My favorite is the seam ripper I lost...it folded up on itself like the little thumbdrives for the computer...no losing the lid as it stays attached.
Wish I could remember where I got it! |
I love my Easy Cut Tooltron Spring Action scissors. They look funny, but so useful. I even use them as my unsewing device. I gave one away to one of my quilting buddies, and she doesn't use anything else.
I also love my Clover Tweezers. They don't look like a regular tweezer, but the design allows you to grab lots of thread at one time. I also enjoy my Gypsy Gripper for putting on the rulers to keep from slipping. You can buy them cheaper if you buy the ones that are used in showers, but I like mine because it is purple. The other gadget is the Purple Thang. |
I just recently purchased a stiletto. Above all the gadgets I have now, that is my favorite at this appointed time.

I don't know if this counts as a gadget, but I love the mechanical threader attached to my sewing machine. Took me a while to figure it out, but once I did, it made threading my needles so much easier. If I have to choose something off the sewing machine, then I think I'd have to choose my little applique scissors.

EEK! I have to pick only one?? I love them all, lol! I love my rotary cutter and my stiletto and my hela marker and my kwik-klip...The list goes on forever, lol. Sorry, not much help here.

I have all the gagets lol. I never pass on a gaget if it seems to be useful. My favorite is the Purple Thang, I have two, just in case. It lives on my machine...

My "She who dies with the most Fabric, Wins" coffee cup
That's the one thing I use on every quilting project. |
my favorite quilting gadget is my husband. he is retired. i do not have a quilting buddy (except you guys) and he is always a good sport helping me opt on fabric choices, colors, etc. that is, if he does not have to get out of his chair. so, i have to haul everything to pick from into the den and lay it on the floor. he quickly points to the one to use and then back to the ballgame....freeky as it sounds, he is usually right. you sure can tell he spent 30 something years in army.
