what if you haven't cut the fabrict yet?[/quote]
At my house it's Biblical. If I haven't cut the fabric it's like before the earth was formed----CHAOS! And I have a LOT of uncut fabric.    |
You really made me think. I have one that I haven't worked on in a few years, but have recently added the fabric added for the borders. So even though it's still on the shelf, I consider it a UFO. But I think it's more than storing it out of sight or on a prominent shelf.
It's your frame of mind! |
I like LIW, and WIP's on a more prominent shelf.....

Ah-ha! The truth comes out. It's all about the shelving location. :^) This does make sense to me. I'm considering moving my scrapbooking stuff so I can fit more quilting things in those prime shelves... and my scrapbooking projects are definately UFOs.

OK, how does this sound? I have an endless list of WIP's that almost instantly become UFO's because the ideas never leave my head.
|
I intentionally keep UFO's to take to a retreat 4 times a year. We all try to finish at least 2 while there plus a new project. We have also exchanged UFO's with friends and fellow quilters. It's fun to do and we love what others are tired of. Different tastes....Wish I had more to exchange with. Unfortunely on line, we don't know where everyone is from adn who is close. Oh well...
