No suggestions from me. Looks fine to me.

I think it is very pretty just like it is.

Thanks for the website as I'm in the process of making quilted items to sell for a Holiday Fair next month. Eeek! I know I always leave things to the last minute, however, I do have an excuse in that my rotator cuff surgery last year is still problematic, with the only possible solution a shoulder replacement. I'm going to at least listen to what this new surgeon says when I meet with him later this month. I'm not looking forward to more surgery, however, neither can I continue with the amount of pain I'm having that severely limits my quilting which makes me irritable (to say the least).

I think my picture mishap confused some people. I was trying to say that the pic that is laying horizontal shows the layout as shown in the pattern and the vertical pic is the one I decided to go with. I was only going to make a table runner but changed my mind and almost done with a lap quilt top. http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=494658&stc=1
I am am going to appliqué a few designs I cut from other halloween fabrics around the edges. thanks for all the lovely comments;) |
MargeD, I had two surgeries on my left shoulder- I am right handed. While recovering from the second surgery, which was orthoscopic I figured I can still quilt. I'll just use a jelly roll and an easy pattern. Rofl it came out awful. I took it apart twice to trim up blocks and try to improve on it. The blocks are sitting in the back of a cabinet hiding from Me! (I know where exactly they are - I mean they are scared I am going to rip into them again lol). It's a pity cuz they are yummy batiks.
