I'm kind of hoping to use Minkee fabric as a backing for a baby quilt I'm working on. I already have lots of fleece and can use that instead if necessary, but the texture of Minkee is just out of this world. Where is the best place to buy it, price-wise? I'm in centeral MD if that makes a difference. Thank you!

If you get the JoAnns flyers sometimes there are 50 percent off coupons, it would be pretty reasonable.

Oof, why does it have to be red or blue... that's a great deal, though! I'll have to stalk her to see if she puts up any yellow or soft pink. ;) Thank you for the link!

Hi! I've made a few baby blankets using minkee and satin. One thing I did't know if you've thought of this or not but minkee as backing fabric would make heavy quilt and minkee doesn't take topstitching or stippling very well. The stitching just gets buried in the nap of the fabric. I had to hand tie my blankets so the minkee and satin wouldn't seperate. Just one person's experience! Chris
