I have my 221 Featherweight from 1952, and she did not come with a cabinet but a table. This table looks like a card table but has a drop down insert in it for the machine to sit. When you remove the machine, it has a cover for the hole and you can use it like any other card table. It folds up for storage too. With the way the machine fits in the table, you have plenty of room on the left side and at the back for quilts or sewing project to land, more than some of my cabinets have.
I know they are now making the reproduction tables as I saw one at the Knoxville AQS Show.

I had never seen this cabinet before.

This is the style cabinet I've seen, the oval top one. Somebody is making replicas, I'd love to have one.

I am not looking to spend thousands on Ebay for a vintage cabinet, but I am wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes reproduction cabinets.

I would like it to be a piece of furniture so I could use it as a display piece.

My husband doesn't have carpentry skills so plans for making one wouldn't work for me. Thanks. ;)

JanetM if I were you I wouldn't put it in cabnet these machine are light weight and perfect to take to work shops. So keep it like it is and just get a cabnet for another machine if you just want a pretty cabnet. You can find trudle on Cl for less then 100 depending on where you live.

Walmart has a very pretty wood card table got $59.00 that could modified by making a cut out and pulling a lower shelf under it for the machine to set in. Would look very similar to the one magpie posted a link to.

I found a site that sells reproduction cabinets. I haven't bought one nor do I know anything about the company but this is the home page:

No affiliation.

I would think that other cabinets could possibly be modified to house a featherweight. It seems to me, though, that the featherweight was not made with bolts the way most cabinet machines are. I think it was simply set on top of a metal "cradle" in the table so it would be flush with the working surface.

Is this what you had in mind?
