Recently, I saw a product that is used to fuse by hand pressing (no heat) two pieces of batting together, thereby avoiding the stitching. I really dislike having to stitch two pieces of batting in order to get a larger piece and this "fusible" (for lack of a better term) would make live so much easier.
I know I saw it, but dumb me did not make note of where I saw same. Anyone else see it? Anyone used it? Thanks. Suzanne |
I have not seen it, but it sounds interesting...

Nancy's Notions sells it.

It's the stuff that you iron on. Can I remember the name---nope.... but with a little searching here is one link

That is not the product in the above links. I've seen it too. It does not require heat to join the batting. I'll look in my bookmarks, I'm pretty sure I saved the product info.

I think it's in the latest Choltidle (I'm sure I spelled it wrong - blame it on the fever!) Good luck finding it.

well the no heat stuff sounds interesting, I can vouch for the tape in these links above, I have some and it's very good, almost nondetectable

I don't think it was in a quilting store, I remember is being used in the industrial upholstery business to join batting/foam together using no heat. The heat strips work great and is probably cheaper.

I just bought some and it works great for using up batting scraps and it was only about $4-5 for 10 yards.
