No, it is nothing like the Roc-Lon I just ordered. I ordered 6 yards of Roc-Lon, the most expensive that JoAnn had listed, for a wholecloth quilt. It is sooo thin you can read the newspaper through it. I washed it hoping the shrinkage would help but it didn't. Needless to say, I can't use it unless I break down and try it for a backing. Such a waste.

I would keep it to use instead of batting inside a summer weight quilt, for the foundation fabric for a foundation pieced quilt, or for a practice quilt sandwich for FMQing.

Thanks for the information about Ecology cloth. Sounds great. Will have to check this out.
