Where's a good place to look....
for current fabric collections? I don't usually purchase fabric collections, I'm a "buy a color as I need it" type of gal. Or I buy fabric I like when I see it or when it's on sale. I'm trying to make a Wish List for a Christmas gift exchange and thought maybe I could put some fabric on it and since it's a family exchange and they're not quilters I had better link to exactly what I want. LOL So I need some sites that have current fabric collections. Thanks for your help!<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/9f547d43/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

Fat Quarter Shop
Here are few places I found:
https://www.missouriquiltco.com/cont...riccollections http://www.homespunhearth.com/fabric_collections.asp http://www.robertkaufman.com/fabrics...g_collections/ http://www.fatquartershop.com/quilti...llection-html/ I would go with a company that you are familiar with if you are going to order online. |
I would go with the ones listed above and ask for gift certificates. It's so hard to purchase fabric for someone else.
I tell my dh just to my me Moda. I loovvee Mora.

Keepsake Quilting has a lovely catalog you can request. They have tons of collections. They are on line too if you want to look there.
If there is a quilt shop near, put fat quarter bundle on you list and the directions to the shop.
There are lots of online stores that you can sign up to get emails when new collections or fabric arrive. I am signed up for Fabric Shack, Hancock of Paducah and Quilting by the Bay.
I find most of mine at Keepsake Quilting. They always carry so many beautiful ones.
ConnectingThreads.com
Hancocks of Paducah always has the latest designer fabrics.
You can't beat Connecting Threads or Keepsake Quilting. They have lots of collections at reasonable prices. Great material and good service. They have sales and free shipping.
Fabric.com is a another good one in addition to the sites already mentioned.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! We have a no GC rule in our swap. I'll be choosing the fabric and putting a link to the specific fabric on my wish list. I can't imagine my MOM picking out fabric for me! Missouri Star Quilt company is my go-to ( mostly) Also Connecting Threads
Equilter.com is really good. And if you call them they are very helpful.
If you like batiks, Fabric Fanatics are great for them. Their on-line store is huge and photos are pretty true to color
Go to a bookstore and look through current magazines. I would be careful asking non-sewers to buy material. Maybe it would be better to ask for a gift card to a specific store, like Hancocks of Paducah.
I like all of the above places, but I would add Hancocks of Paduka (special).

Gift Certificate to your favorite shop.
