I thought it was on one of my posts--but I just read through them and didn't find it. I think it was butterflywing? My stitches do that now and then--and I can't remember what the cause was... needles or thread?

Here's the thread they talk about slanted stitches....
Hope it helps! http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/18016.page |
Thanks Terri--it was quiltncrazy... thanks!! Now--bobbin tension? I don't dare mess with that!
|
I know I used to get fits from my machine if I used the Sidewinder to wind the bobbins. Don't use it anymore....kinda learned after a few bobbins swaps. Wound them with the machine and they were fine.
I don't mess with the tension either. Very rarely do I move numbers or anything on my machine. Once I have everything where I need it to be, it stays. |
Mine does that when the top tension and pressure is a bit off also if the thread is no coming off the spool smooth :D I love my sidewinder...no problems for me, but I don't use them for all machines

You can adjust the winding tension on the Sidewinder, turn the knob the thread runs though. I have to turn the knob for different machine bobbins. I bought an extra bobbin case thing, so I could adjust the tension on it and try it out before messing the tension on the one that is set to use. use. I have gotten over the fear of turning that little screw!
