Whole cloth baby quilt

I am going to make a whole cloth baby quilt. The fabric is solid white. I will use who
white thread. Which thread is recommended ?

Are you machine or hand quilting?

I did this years ago handquilted a teddy bear.....I would suggest using a very light tan, gray, pink, blue or even creamy green so that the quilting pops out just a little bit more than exactly matching. I did a dark gray wholecloth and used white, light yellow, light green and blue and i love how it just pops!

Thank you. I’m wondering if we have the same whole cloth design. I bought mine years ago. It has a Teddy bear in the center.

I agree with using a non-white thread so it pops a bit. Know the sex yet? Or at least nursery colors? That might help you chose a color. As for thread I'm loving aurifil and I hear the heavier weights really pop, I haven't tried them yet but maybe try their 40wt. I've only used the 50wt and just love it. I have a spool of 40wt to try soon.
