I don't want my quilts to be disrespected and abused in a mean way but they can be loved and cuddled to destruction.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

Yikes tortoisethreads I love all the quilts you made. So sad. I probably would have grabbed it out of the box.

I give them out of love , and I do hope they use them and
, but if I see that they abused them in a bad way I just
don't offer to make any more for that person, I wouldn't complain I'd just take them off my list . :-D

When my 43 yr. old son was a tiny baby, his great grandmother made him a tied quilt out of flannel with an old soft blanket as batting. David's quilt was much loved and used until it was patched many times.....He still has the quilt. although Great grandma is no longer here----her love for him is and we remember it all the time especially when we look at the quilt...

I want them to be used and loved.

I suppose my quilts will be used but am not up-tight about it. I, too, feel that once I give something away it is no longer up to me how it is or is not used.

I agree.
