For the creative part of me, for gifts, for charity, for friends, for family, the designing part of me, always wanting to do something new, keeps me challanged mentally, I throughly enjoy the whole process from begining to end, especially buying fabric

The past few years I have found myself buying more and more quilts because I love them so much...and I dont know how to sew.
Last year I decided I would like to try to make a quilt so I got a machine and as soon as I got the nerve to turn it on I was hooked. The creative expression, the love of fabric, the feeling you get from taking a stack of fabric and turning it into a piece of art. Sometimes not a great piece of art but art none the less. Its my happy place!!! :D |
I love the craft of quilting. Every room has a quilt and my brothers and sisters have quilts. My house is filled with quilts on sofas and chairs.

3 things I felt like were becoming lost arts in my generation: quilting,gardening and canning. In the last 2 yrs,since I turned 40 I have learned to and am thoroughly enjoying all three. All are alot of work but relaxing and satisfying at the same time.

I love the craft.
I love the expression. I love the fabrics I love the patterns I love the colors I love the feel I love making the little stiches I'm replacing all my purchased bed coverings with handmade, sheets, quilts, pillow cases, shams, bed skirts. |
