Why the heck isnt accuquilt motorized?

Tried them and they are difficult to turn. I would buy one, if they had a motor!

I don't find mine difficult to turn. Which one did you try out, and how many layers of fabric were you cutting when you tried it?

Two layers, tried a friends and also one at an Eleanor Burns event . Would love one that you don't have to "crank" lol

I love that it is a crank handle...one less thing to break and can use and do something when the power goes out and one less thing to plug in...I love Accuquilt!

Mine was hard to crank at first, but got easier with use. I've heard several people make the same observation.

Sizzix used to make the Big Shot Sizzix Express, which was an electric machine:

but I think they discontinued making it.

If you can afford it, the Accuquilt Studio is (I think) easier to crank; however, you need a dedicated space for it as it is quite heavy. This is the machine I would get if I had a space for it and could afford it.

The crank isnt the problem its the DIE.... new ones are hard to push thru but once the foam 'relaxes' a bit after use its easy peasy...

I love my go.... would hate to live with out it..

Love the accuracy.just too hard for me personally...wish they had motor...I am getting old .or maybe I am already old lol

I read on their web page that the newer Go Cutters are easier to use. They changed something in the handle.

If it's the foam maybe try running it through a couple times without the fabric to see if that helps it go through a little more smoothly?

I had problems with my Big Shot crank, too, so I sold it and bought the Brother ScanNCut - I'm in heaven!
