They want to know why I am de-stashing this way. Here is the story!
My grandma Ruth Anderson was ADDICTED to mystery boxes, and this is in her memory. It was the tradition of an auctioneer in SW Iowa to always have a "mystery box" at each auction--and Grandma could not resist them.
I vividly remember one sale when they set her up...the mystery box was bricks wrapped in newspapers, and nestled in crumpled papers. Every one at the auction just roared when she excitedly opened it up....most everyone but her was in on the joke!
She passed away many years ago, but I thought this would be a FUN way to de-stash.....

I love fabric.com's grab bag. I love the surprise when it comes in the mail. I think that would be fun way to de-stash:)

Hmmm, nice thought. They don't do mystery boxes in my area. I love auctions though and go to them all year 'round. In my area, auctions are a social event, lol!

That is great, I love to buy scrap boxes on eBay. It it like Christmas to a child when they arrive!

I remember nickle grab bags at the Ben Franklin. Always fun to see what you got out of that brown paper sack. Mystery boxes are a great idea.
