I’ve used black Kona and it hasn’t run. Of course it’s always best to test fabric first. I’ve been pretty lucky since I don’t do that.

I will wash and observe the black fabric before I use it - better to be safe than sorry!
(So glad I don't have to worry about the white fabric running ;-)

It wouldn't hurt to double check it and wash it with a color catcher. Most likely you will be glad you did.
