I love making these confetti pieces. They are a way to use every single bit of fabric especially the ugly ones----
Any way I have used them for bags, wall art and checkbook covers. Right now I am trying to decide if I ought to list them on etsy, take them to the farmer's market or list them on here. Oh I made a couple of coats with a wool combination out of them also. There is just oh so much other stuff to do. The background piece was oh so ugly I like this without a ton of bits |
Your art work is beautiful.

Good Lord woman! Those are gorgeous. There is hope now for my boxes of ugly scraps. I didn't know what to call them, but Confetti sounds appropriate.
beautiful
Frame them!! They are wonderful!
The ugly is the base, then a layer of bits under preferably black tulle, a bit of free motion quilting and .......no more ugly.

Those are just amazing!
This is fine art! While it will take some effort on your part, I'm sure you'll find galleries wiling to show and sell your quilts. You might have to explore beyond MT, however.
the uses are endless--remember you can cut them to insert stain glass celtic my heads buzzing good job love your quilting

Those are gorgeous!
when i was an avid machine knitter, we used to use the lint with this technique. i like it much better with the fabric scraps, though. you did a wonderful job!
These are beautiful, just shows we can use even the smallest scraps of fabric. You are so creative. Great work. :D

If they're the right size, I've seen this type of work as covers for small notebooks, called journal covers.
Lovely work. Might have to try this.... |
No, but I bet it is the same concept. I did a tutorial called Ode to My Grandmother II.

Thats amazing I dont know how you do it but its beautiful!

I'd use them in card-making, frame larger ones for a grouping, give as gifts, sell in commision gallery, ask a restaurant if you can put them up for sale (away from kitchen oils & odors) - they often change out art in our area & its all for sale, book covers, purses - the possibilities are endless!
You are an artist - I may have to suggest this to my DIL who is an artist & wedding photographer - she may want to make covers for the wedding books she does. |
Nice ideas
Covers for wedding books could be fun.
