Since Monday 9-28-09 I've finished hand piecing 38 Tumbling Blocks. I want the quilt to cover a double (full) size bed and it'll have 2 borders. I'm still debating on what type of border I want for the outside border. I'm thinking pieced, but with what? Diamonds? Tumbling Blocks? Of course I'm also considering just a quilted outside border - perhaps a grid of diamonds pattern? Anyway, I'm still plugging away. I figure I'll need a minimum of 100 blocks for my quilt.

Good luck!!! Just keep plugging along. It takes longer to hand piece, but don't you get a greater amount of satisfaction when you're done? :-) I know I do. I can get better accuracy with hand piecing, although I've been at it only about a year. I also hand quilt, which takes a long time, but I enjoy the process. :D :D
