I use a china cabinet from the 50's. It was my moms, and it has glass sliding doors. I store by width of fabric and then folded by width of shelf. I have seen some better folding ideas but I have not had time to try them. I would go for it! Works for me!

Fabaddict 02-24-2011 05:52 AM

definately

NannySandy 02-24-2011 05:53 AM

Grab that thing while you can. That would be great and it's a good price too.

Arleners 02-24-2011 05:55 AM

why not? You can store a lot of fabric on those shelves

Anamafajo 02-24-2011 06:11 AM

Yes it woul work and you cant beat the price. Great find, get it!

Deborah12687 02-24-2011 06:15 AM

That is a great find you got. Plenty of shelves to stack fabric and notions in and keep it neat. Congrads on your find.

ediedarlene 02-24-2011 06:17 AM

NICE!!!! At $60 that's a steal!!!

koko 02-24-2011 06:39 AM

I like it. My theory is anything with shelves and drawers works for storage! and if you don't like the wood you can always paint it.

JeanDal 02-24-2011 06:44 AM

Sure would.

grandma anna 02-24-2011 06:45 AM

Very nice I would love it for my sewing room good luck.

TootieAnn 02-24-2011 06:47 AM

Yes! I think it's a great piece for storage. Hope you get it if you want it.

katlady 02-24-2011 07:06 AM

I think it would be a wonderful storage for material & sewing items, also a good price.

Great buy & if you have room for it snap it up

BellaBoo 02-24-2011 07:11 AM

Very nice storage. I would paint it white.

haylillan 02-24-2011 07:57 AM

yes

BJ SewKkrazzy 02-24-2011 08:06 AM

Looks great...bins of beads and threads, stacks of fabric; Books could go in the bottom shelf! Are the shelves moveable?

QuiltQtrs 02-24-2011 08:45 AM

Would not pass this up ... great for any room.

cbuchanan 02-24-2011 09:30 AM

I would love that piece if I had the space.

marlene tarzwell 02-24-2011 10:09 AM

I love it. Wish I had something like that but just dont have the room. My hubby just put me up a 5 shelf bookshelf in my Guest/sew room. My walk in closet is packed with all shelves from floor to ceiling and 2 or 3 rows deep of evenly folded and yardage tags on every piece of fabric. Anyways you better grab it up.

grammysews4u 02-24-2011 10:11 AM

bgullett 02-24-2011 03:41 PM

Absolutely!

Vat 02-24-2011 04:24 PM

I would love the shelves for folded fabrics. I also would put a curtain over the front to protect my fabrics from light. Great storage.

jitkaau 02-24-2011 04:32 PM

For one project maybe.

Margie 02-24-2011 04:35 PM

GREAT!

nlgh 02-24-2011 05:19 PM

Looks wonderful!!! Price is very good, too, if it's in good shape.

mimi423 02-24-2011 05:24 PM

It's a great unit if you don't have natural sun in the room. I have to have my fabric behind closed doors. I have two windows in my room and have had damage from leaving fabric on the table in front of the windows.

butterflies5518 02-24-2011 06:05 PM

Snap it up girlfriend, sweet piece!

ladyshuffler 02-24-2011 06:25 PM

Buy it before it is gone..........you can put it anywhere!!

p38flygirl 02-24-2011 06:28 PM

It would probably work just fine..I would paint it some fun colors and add some decorative painting too...
