Wow, your blocks are beautiful. I vote green.

This is one of my favorite patterns. I,too, like the green, but I think it should be a lighter shade of green. I usually select three to four motifs, a light, medium or very colorful, go the fabric store and audition background fabric, usually starting with a color that is in the design. You will get a lot of help. New eye help can be a good thing.

It sounds like the green is the overall choice. But I wouldn't do that at all. The OBW is traditionally sewn together so that there is no other fabric between the hexis. I've done a couple and I sew the hexi halfs together in rows to accomplish the 'no other fabric' affect. There's not a lot of contrast throughout your blocks so having the usual flow of color wouldn't work for your fabric choice.

It's going to be a wonderful quilt no matter what you decide.

I vote for the green-it really makes your beautiful blocks "pop".
