Going on a bus trip is nice and you do meet new people. You also, as you said, don't have to worry about parking which can be a real problem if you have any walking or other disabilities that hamper being on your feet a long time. Before I got my new knees, it took me a long time to walk around a large show, as I kept having to sit down for a while. Because of this, I didn't see a lot of the show or all of the vendors because I had to get back to the bus on time. Of course, that was unfortunate, but now I can go on a bus and relax and not worry about traffic.

Sure. Take some ear plugs along just in case you don't have a particularly interesting seat-mate. Also some Dramamine and a bite of something sweet and water. It sounds like fun. Enjoy.

Unfortunately, I have a similar problem. My food sensitivities can make me very reactive and it keeps me awake so early mornings aren't something I schedule often. The good news is I'm working with a nutritionist and they are getting better!

Is there a quilting friend who would be willing to carpool. You could have more autonomy and stop when you want for gas, snacks, bathroom breaks. I did several bus tours, including international travel and to quilt shows and I am over that kind of trip. But the other comments are correct, you could make some new friends, dramamine still is effective for motion sickness, and you have time to do handwork.

The only issue I have with bus trips it the time restraints. If I had to go alone and not with friends I would definitely do the bus. By the time you do the show then walk to where you parked your car then drive home it is exhausting. Go for it,
