I got an email from this site asking me to allow them to send emails. Does anyone know if this is the official address? It went to my spam file and I have not contacted them.

Go directly to their site and verify. If you haven't signed up for Wounded Warriors from some other site, I would be hesitant to click on an unsolicited email.

I generally don't respond to unsolicited Emails...especially ones with underscores in the title.

most legitimate charitable foundations are organizations- and org is part of their address-
if it was unsolicited it is more than likely spam which someone sent-having somehow found out you open quilting links-
never open one you did not sign up for- unless a friend refered it to you or something like that-
those scammers are pretty good at what they do-

To the best of my knowledge, the Wounded Warrior Project does not send SPAM.

this is their real home page:

Hi there! I'm the social media manager for Wounded Warrior Project, and I wanted to let you know that the email is not one we would have sent. All of our emails come from "[email protected]" and not a.net email address. If you happen to still have the email in your spam folder, would you mind sending it along to me at [email protected]? If someone is using our name to send out spam messages, it's definitely something we need to look in to. Thanks!
