What an amazing gift to receive from that nearby fabric designer who would never had known about your group's good deeds without the newspaper article. It does pay to advertise. That was a great gift of fabric, I'd love to be there to help you go through it, feel it, decide what to make and have the satisfaction of knowing that a quilt you made brings comfort to sick children. God bless you and your group.

That is awsome, I do quilts for kids but use the kits they send me. I made an extra one last time using my stash and sent it along with the one they sent.

Well in the afternoon of the article appearing in the paper -- I received several e-mails. One was from a Fabric Designer, who unbeknownst to me, lives a short distance from me. She donated all of her 2 yard samples that the fabric company sends her to me for future Quilts for Kids. Three plastic tubs full -- how awesome!!! Now to get off this quilting board and get sewing!

WTG! Thank her from all of us!

The 24 I brought to them were from their quilt kits!! Love that all the fabric is cut, etc.

Funnier story -- as we got talking, the designer and I -- I had gone to High School with her cousin in New Jersey.
