Found today: Over 6 yards quality cottons, some in 2+ yard
pieces; huge 95 x 112" white muslin quilt backing; 12 hand pieced blocks (3 designs); great quilting book with recipes included; Quilt Class book with CD "Teaching Basic Quiltmaking"; lovely Mennonite sewn cotton dress with full lining (took apart for future quilt blocks); Total: approx. $3.50 spent and had a great day in the sunshine. |

That's fantastic!! I stopped at a few garage sales last week but didn't find a thing I could use for my quilting. DH grumbled the entire time...looks like I need to find a garage sale buddy in my area!!! :-D

Wowsers!!! YOu did great! I stopped by Friday after work, this is what I got for $15.00 I firgued just over 15 yards, if it had been a fabric store, at $5.00 a yard (guessing) plus tax it would of cost me over $80.00! Beautiful fabric, very nice quality. I decided then I need to go to estate sells and garage sales as much as possible. I can save a bundle! It is just smart!
