I am working on a quilt to donate to a raffle for a family reunion next weekend..I got all 24 of my blocks down..It only took me 4 days..I'm so proud of myself..lol..Not just have to figure out a layout and get it all together..I've got plenty of time right? RIght? lol

Thanks for the encouragement..I just laid it out and I found I need to take one of the blocks apart and resew it..Didn't get a pic, as there wasn't quite enough room to get it completely laid out flat, just enough for me to figure out how I want to lay it out..

The blocks are red and white 9 patch in various red patterns..I made 24 of of those..In the center will be a replica of the Polish flag..Which is really simple since it's a wide band of white and a wide band of red..

Gotta love the Polish and their simplicity..lol..The old Polish flag used to have an eagle (we call it a chicken, cause it kinda looks like a chicken crossed with an eagle..lol)

So I ordered a sew on patch that I'm going to put on the white band..And if I can swing it I'd liked to embroider on the red band The ______ Reunion 2008..Don't know if I will have time for it yet..

Calm your nerves and don't stress over it because that will only slow you down.you have a few days plenty of time. Relax and you will see that you will have it done with time to spare and is going to be gorgeous.
