That is interesting. I had called Handi-Quilt about using it with their frame and the clerk said she thought you had to have 12-inches of throat space. But since then I have learned that they are compatible. I am going to look up gracie frames though, shhhhhhhh....don't tell my husband, he thinks I have lost my bearings. Can't buy anything else now. I now have three machines, but the other two are two small to fit a good size quilt in it.

I am sooooo glad I took the plunge to do this. It is just such a nice machine for the money. I would go into the quilt shop and get depressed knowing I could never afford any of those. But I wised up, let my family know that for gifting occasions, I love amazon gift certificates, so five of my daughters started throwing them my way and that paid for 1/2 of it. Life is good....I am envigorated! Pauline

I just ordered the Brotherpq1500s online from Sew Vac Direct - $599 no tax and free shipping via UPS. Should be here next Wed or Thursday.
I too had looked at the various machines, this was the best price for the machine.
I would have had to wait till October to get the Babylock @ $949 plus tax here in town.
The Juki's and Janome were $700 and up.
Have fun with your new machine.

Terrific! I hope you have a great time with your new machines!

One thing I'm curious about - do they make a cabinet or a table that will hold this machine?

How exciting!

I set my cosol small arm machine aside and put this at the end of mylong tables (2 tabes each 5 ft long. I thought I would notice a difference from the cosole but I haven't because it has a large table workspace attached to it. I am telling u, this machine is sheer pleasure. I learned real easily the bells and whistles. It is great on FMQ and I am impressed with how easily it handles Many thicknesses and how high the pressure foot lifts toaccomodates. It is a straight stich machine but that's all Plus FNQ.

Can u tell I am sooooo happy with my decision to buy this model.

That price at Sew Vac was even better with no shipping; but I had Amazon Gift Certificates. I have 9 grown children n 17 grandchildren and they think I am sloop easy to shop for because they just send me Amazon GC via email

I saw a Babylock too. All three: the Juki, Brother and Babylock all look so much alike. I wonder if Nouvelle makes all three. I see the pedal is a little different on the Juki. It has a foot-controlled thread cutter. Mine is button controlled. Also the Brother has a knee lift control. P
