YEAH!! I'm so excited!
I was browsing around all my somewhat local craigslists and found and accucut with 18 dies for $150!! I know its not the accuquilt, but when I asked someone who works at accucut.com they said that it is compatible with accuquilt studio dies. I figure the other ones, I could just put a few magazines under(read that somewhere here on the board) and put them through that way. I don't have any of those dies yet so it wouldn't be too hard to just get one and try it out. I figure at that price I really can't be picky. I looked up the accucut and that is $395 along with the dies ranging from $100-$200 for a set of a few dies. The ones she told my husband about sound like they could make some really cute applique. DH has arranged to go and pick it up on Friday... is it Friday yet!!!

If it's the Grande Mark, then yes, it's compatible with the Studio dies because it's the same machine!! I own the Grande Mark. This is really the only Accucut machine that will work with fabric and Accuquilt dies. The other machines made by Accucut are meant for paper and will stretch fabric and distort it. So, I hope it is the Grande Mark that you're buying....

Hey, we are probably close to each other cuz I looked at that on craigslist. I wasn't sure what it was as it didn't look like my accuquilt and a friend would like one. If this is the one Candace is talking about I believe you can get an adapter to use the go dies - at least that's what I've heard about the studio.
