Yellow Brick Road is a quilt pattern that is super easy. I doubt it's online for free as it is a copyrighted pattern. Here is a link to the pattern:

Yellow Brick Road is a VERY easy pattern. Uses fat quarters and makes up fast.
You can pick it up at almost any quilt shop for about $8

Hi peel,
You are doing a new topic correctly. Yellow Brick Road - aka YBR- is just what these messages have said, easy and a copyrighted pattern. Well worth the investment. My pattern is worn out from use. It is an easy one to make as there are no sashes and very little block matching. We used it in my Beginning Quilting class so we could understand the basics. I have since made several in many sizes. One I made into a tablecloth! Enjoy!

Another easy one is Cheese and Crackers. It's put out by the same company. Most local quilt shops carry these patterns. About $8. That's what it cost me when I bought mine.
What I also do too when I get a pattern...I copy it and put it in my book. I'm really hard on some patterns. I'll write on them or it'll get torn or something. This way, I still have a good copy.

Please do. Look at my Avatar. My first quilt.

Support Atkinson Design. They do nice patterns. That particular design was key in my progressing as a quilter.

I've made a couple dozen Yellow Brick Road quilts cause they cut and sew up fast and easy!!! I highly suggest it for beginning quilters or anyone that needs a fast pattern to whip up.

if you look carefully at a picture of a ybr quilt, you should be able to see where the block actually is. using that as your guide, you can develop something very like it on graph paper. remember to add seam allowances to your measurements.

because of copyright infringements, you're not allowed to copy it exactly as it was designed without permission of the owner of the copyright.

but you can get a very similar look without breaking any rules. and it should still be a simple quilt to put together.

if you give it a try, show us pictures. we love pictures!
