Thanks for posting: I've been trying to use up 40 years of scraps and the string quilts take the most. I'm always looking for fresh string quilt ideas and I just wanted to say that's really nice.

Your quilt is just so pretty. When something is so pretty, I too have a hard time deciding what to quilt on it for fear of ruining it. But when it is all said and done, any quilting perfect or not ends up enhancing the quilt. I've yet to say "oh my quilting ruined it" and I'm far from a professional quilter. When I looked up the pattern, the design she used was quite pretty. Just copy the original pattern maker's design idea. I like your version better with the white background.

First off I love this quilt. String quilts are always fun and this unique design is no exception. It is an inspiration! My vision would be curly ques over the entire quilt. Not to tight. They will give the quilt a good deal of dimension. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what you decide to do./
