Yes, I am a quilter
Today we are traveling to Oshkosh for the EAA Airshow. While driving down today I was stitching in the car. We went into Olive Garden for dinner. As I was dishing up my salad I looked down and right on the end of one of my girls was a thread from my stitching! My DH just shook his head!
Been there done that!! For some reason I wear them in my hair. LOL.
Have fun at the Airshow!! We have always wanted to drive over for it, but DH never had the time off during the summer to go. Would be a great day trip for us, only a 3 hr drive from here. But then we would have to trek on up to Door County for wine tasting! |
Oh do I understand. I quilt in the car all the time and my husband blames the dust on the dashboard on the batting in my quilt runners....and when I get out for a break, I have to brush my t-shirt off because of all the little threads on me.
He just laughs. |
:D Too funny!!!
I keep a lint roller in the console. It is the one I have to refill most often... My hubby just laughs at me.
Heheh...I thought my husband was trying to pinch my butt the other day at the grocery store....nope, he was just removing a thread. :D
Thread and batting fuzz everywhere :-)
My daughter is always cleaning me up before I go out the door - she just shakes her head ...
My DH is always commenting on all the threads I seem to carry with me. I just tell him to deal with it.
i love it when I am in a store shopping and look down at my shirt and I have a half dozen pins and a threaded needle in my shirt.....What can you do but go with the flow......yes I sew !!!
I totally understand - just a part of sewing! By the way, if you are looking for a quilt shop to go to in Oshkosh, try Quilt Essentials. (Assuming you don't already know about it.) The address is 1928 So. Washburn St. Enjoy the airshow!

Thanks for the quilt shop. I have been there. I won't be able to get to Quilt Essentials this trip. By the time we leave the show each day, the shop is closed. We are enjoying the show except for the heat. 103 on Monday, 89 Tuesday and 96 today. Oh well, beats shoveling show! |

The last time I was at my doctor's office, he was picking threads off me. Very embarrassing. He's been my doctor for more than 20 years so he knows me well.
That's funny! Hope you enjoyed the airshow.

Hi, hubby & I flew into the airshow at Oshkosh on Thurs. & left Fri. p.m. Hope you were able to see the quilt block contest, located in the Museum on show grounds. Wasn't that a great event?
