This is the center of a yo-yo quilt I have designed for son & DIL. It'll be 1500+ yo-yos. Red, black, & red & white. Will have W in the middle for family name , & heart around the "W". Hope to have finished by January. Haven't decided what color backing to attach it to as of yet. Have about half of the yo-yos finished. They are 2" each.

Wow! I love yo yo's , but maybe not that much to do 1500 of them!

It is going to be great, great, great. If the yo yo's will be red and black and white, maybe a light grey fabric underneath? Just a thought. No need to decide now.

hope you share a picture when your done. would love to see it. the quit I made had 2016 and it fit my King size bed. they were made using Clover template that is yellow. not sure of the size that it makes.

1,500???? What size will it be? I'm having second thoughts about the one on my wish list for my king size bed.

I started with 6 in circles. It will be a King size...but I did have to adjust it. I had it going to be 35 X 43 yo yos but it was too big so I went with a 35 x 35 yo yos. it will hang over about 4 on each side and some on foot. So it will be 1225 yo yos now. I have sewn 18 rows of them so far but not connected but 3 rows so far. I want to have all the rows complete before I attach all 35 rows together.
