I love swapping mug rugs with quilters, but I have found that non-quilters don't really "get" them. Most people look at me quizzically for using one, so I'm not sure how well recieved they would be by "outsiders".
I guess I was a little skeptical about them when I first heard of them too, but they are just so fun to make I accepted the idea! |

Mug rugs are so much fun to make. My sister eats lunch at her desk every day. I made this mug rug big enough to hold her sandwich and a drink. It is about 8"x10". She said everyone at her work wants one too. Google mug rug images and you will see a lot of them.
