Wheeeeeeee!
My Iris Garden panel arrived today. I am SOOOO excited and it’s even better IRL than one could ever imagine.

So for those of you that have not ordered one, you just might want to do it. I think this will be a fun one to work on when the snow and blow comes my way.

And for those that are saying "whaaaat?" ... here's the link so you can take a look!

Bless You QuiltingAddict!!! for your talents and for sharing them with me/us!

I’m not going to rush into making it up …. something so glorious as this needs time on its side, to ensure I make a “right” choice on how to finish it up.

I’ll be looking forward to ideas that you might want to share, as well!

Here it is again. :):):)

I actually let it age a couple months before I finished piecing it. :) It think I cut into about a month after I recieved it, and then pieced it another month later. Funny.. I was SO anxious to get it, but then it is like it needed to age, like a fine wine. :)

That'll be me with the Iris Garden ... as I won't want to make it "wrong"!

I just emailed her about purchasing one panel. Iris are my absolutely most favorite flower, and I haven't seen one I liked until now. Thank you so much for sharing.

If you go to the link I provided you will get a very good description of the background of her Painted Quilts ... how they came about, and the fabrics that she now offers so we can each have our own copy.

Thank you for posting! My Mom is an Iris gardener. She currently has over 500 different varieties in her yard, and would love something like this.

WOW!! 500 different irises .... must be one incredible garden when in bloom. Looks like this might be the "perfect" Christmas gift for your MOm!

Oh, please do show us some pics of those lovely flags!
I love them but have never been successful at growing them!!!

It'd sure be a way to keep your irises flowering for you all year long! :)
