til Christmas!!!

I had great plans to be ahead of the Christmas sewing. Partly because oldest DD's family and myself are going to Disney World the first part of December.



But MIL had a minor heart problem and was put in the hospital. She also has a bad shoulder, that she was hoping to have repaired (that is on hold for now). I have been with her for three weeks, helping out. With her two problems (not to mention she has decided that she might be better off in a assisted living home. That means the family needs to help her clean out her home that she has lived in for 59 years.

On the bright side ;) so far we have unearthed 2 quilt tops (made by her grandmother), 1 well used Dresden quilt (from step-mothers side of the family) and still to find (she believes, a hand pieced double wedding ring).

I have made all the quilts for Christmas I plan to make. Everyone I know and some I don't know have quilts from me. I want to make a Christmas quilt, or me.
I wish your MIL good health. Husband's Mom (almost 87) moved into an assisted apartment and she loves it. Good luck finding the quilts.

This year is non-quilt year for gifts. In the last two years I have given away about 12 quilts... so It will be something else this year.
