Found this on e-bay -- My gosh! This machine was priced at over $1500. last year!!! Now it's $20.00 on Ebay!!!!! I have this machine -- it works beautifully - I have it on a Grace frame.

No, that's the listed price...it will get bid up. Though it looks and sounds pretty beat up. Maybe it won't go for that much considering the shape it's in.

That scares me. Why would they sell it so cheap. It makes no sense.

I wondered the same thing....I knew it said it had a few things wrong...but for that price!! And yes, I know it'll go up -- but to START at $20.00 blew my mind!

They started it at a low price to save on listing fees.

I go to lots of auctions in the course of my business. A very low starting bid is not what the seller expects. They have a reserve price set and if the bid does not equal or exceed the reserve they have the right to remove the item with no sale.
The very low starting bid is designed to start a bidding frenzy. At a real live auction this is how people get caught up in the bidding process and find that they have over bid their own budget.
Advice on auctions: Decide what you are willing to pay and DO NOT go over that price.

Exactly. And if it's been dropped a few times with bent parts and beat up maybe it's not worth that much anyway.

oh my goodness, I had one of these and I can't believe it.

They're counting on "ebay magic"...you don't see many quilting machines on ebay...and because of that, you might see this one go high...

I'm puzzled that the shipping isn't higher!
