I am so jealous, I wish they had great shops like that down here. I'm sure there are one or two, but not to the extent I hear of in the northern states.

Since you were watching your Granddaughter, you were not able to concentrate on buying fabric. I'm sure you will make up for it at a later time.

I love M&L fabric store in Anaheim. I always find fabric I didn't even know I wanted. Going there is better than therapy (or it is therapy) :)

$50?? We called Costco the "$100 Club" years ago when it was Price Club! Never got out of there for less than $100...now, well, I hate to say.

Hi quiltsRfun, I will be going to Disneyland staying at a hotel on the 2000 block on South Harbor Blvd in Anaheim. I have read about this fabric store and that it is not far from Disneyland. I would like to go their, do you know the address or how far it is from Disneyland.

Cost $50 to fill the gas tank to get to the store.

It is a little over 5 miles from Disneyland - it is a straight shot down Ball Road.

I was surprised how run down the building was - but show cares what it looks like on the outside. It is all the wonderful fabric on the inside that counts.

I love M & L, I'm so bad, I wait until Southwest has their flights on sale and actually use my points to fly down from Sacramento where I live just to buy fabric. Southwest allows each passenger to check two suitcases for free. I check them and usually get some weird looks because they are so light. On the return trip they are much much heavier.

The building is old and not very impressive but the fabric displays are very neat and orderly. More so than other large (unnamed) fabric stores I've visited.
