  I got 1 quilt quilted, 3 bindings on and 2 fleece blankets made since yesterday. I am on a roll getting things finished up in time to mail for Christmas.

I also found time to go to Hancock for their big sale today. I got fabric for another quilt I want to make and some ribbon and some 45mm blades (on sale 50% off). I saved about $60 today. :D

Wow girl -- you've been BUSY!!! And to even stick my nose out of the house on Black Friday -- don't think so :D -- you're not only fast but brave. And, yes, I'm very proud of you!! :D :D

Where did you find the time!?! I'm tired just reading about all you've accomplished.

Wow. You did great. Did you even sleep?

sewnsewer2 11-27-2009 07:06 PM

 Yes I sleep.

I got so tired of moving them off my ironing board so I could use my iron. So I HAD to finish them and hang them in the closet along with the others.

Wow! I'm impressed.

What do you keep your eyelids open with :D

The only thing I've done in the last week is to sandwich my quilt together... and look at it.... and look at it and can't decide how to quilt it.

I'm precrastinating... I know!

Oh, I hate it when that happens to me! I couldn't figure out how to quilt the bed quilt I made for my grandson so I took it over to a friends (one of my quilt groups). I brought along some clear plastic sheeting, like the kind you buy off the roll at WalMart for picnic tables, and a sharpie pen. Then I put the plastic over the quilt and had the ladies draw their designs on it. It's a great way to sample various patterns before actually deciding on anything, and I can keep them to reference later. Once done, I took the patterns back home and stared at it for a couple days until I decided on which one I liked best. I ended up modifying what one of my friends had drawn and it turned out very well; at least I'm happy with it, lol. Maybe this will work for you.

Tiffany, I like your idea and will definitely give it a go. much better idea than 'humming and arring' over it and being terrified to mark the quilt lines on it in case you don't like the pattern, after all.

It's hung over the banister at the moment so I can see it regularly... the thinking behind this is the anwer will jump out at me... eventually.

Thanks
Joanne
