Ok I've lost my cotton pickin mind. What do ya call sissors that cut zig-zag ?? Any way I need to know how to sharpen them. Does anyone know what I'm talkin about? Does anyone know how to sharpen them????

I've temporarily sharpened mine by cutting several times thru 0000 sandpaper. Although I'm sure it's a no-no.

The scissors man at Hancock's advertises sharpening pinking shears. I don't know how....

I have tried the aluminum foil method, but it didn't work too well for me.

i'm going to try the tin foil option for my pinking sheers i've had them for a long time 20 yrs they are Gingher left handed and were expensive when i purchased them. thanks for the post.

You guys are the greatest !! I also have an antique pair of Weiss pinking shears and learned how to care for them also. Thank you to all and especially for reminding me they are Pinking shears instead of zig-zag scissors.hehehehe
