Default Brother SQ9050 extension table legs fold up too easily

I bought one of these machines from Craigslist - unopened and in perfect condition. I just finished quilting a 72x72 t-shirt quilt and it did pretty good. My sewing table isn't set up right and my shoulders really hurt after it was done but it turned out fine.

The machine comes with an extension table and the legs on the table keep folding in. Just wondering if anyone else has the same issues with the extension tables for the Brother machines and what have you done to fix it.

This will hopefully become a non-issue when I get my sewing table set up right this weekend so my machine fits flush with the table but not sitting in the table, these extension table legs folding in give me fits.

There's got to be a solution to this problem.

Got any ideas?

I never use the extension table on mine, but I don't remember having that problem on my XL-3500i

Put a small piece of wood between leg and way it folds in iemaking a triangle . As long as each of these fit onto a ledge to stop sliding should hold.
Or pur something strong between the legs to stop them folding.

Mine do that, too. I think I might try wedging a short length of dowel rod between them.
