couching patterns
I just got a couching attachment for my Tiara quilting machine. I can't find any ideas, patterns or "inspirations". Any ideas? Id love to do some pillows/gifts for Chrismas. I still have a week. lol

Don't know that there are any specific patterns. A good thing to start with is a simple line quilting pattern. Use one with gentle curves and not a lot of stops & starts. There's a Craftsy class, "Stupendous stitching". Just look at the title picture and you can get some ideas.
It's a fun foot to have. You can couch ribbon, cord, and my favorite: novelty yarns.

Couching is more a technique than a pattern. Check pout these google images to see some ideas:

The Google images were really good and gave me some fun ideas. If you grab some bits and pieces to test it out I think you'll come up with all kinds of ideas yourself . One other suggestion is to look at (Pfaff and husqvarna I know for sure) the machine embroidery patterns for their couching foot.
