    Default Purse plastic rings

Okay. I can't remember what these things are called and where you can get them. They are round, plastic colorful rings, that are placed in the body of the purse and the purse straps come up through them. The middle of the ring is open. I know this is a poor description, but it's the best I can do. Thanks for any help you can send my way. This time I promise to write the name of them down. ~~Ann~~

I'm thinking Tartan got it right with plastic purse grommets, but I still haven't seen exactly what I'm looking for. These are positioned into the base of the purse, not at the top. These round plastic rings that I saw today on a ladies purse, were bright red plastic, very shiny and with a slight sparkle. They were gorgeous. She got away from me in the store before I could ask her about them. ~~Ann~~

Cheapest place to look is Joann's in the curtain rod section. That's where I got mine. Walmart had them also.

You can ask at your LQS to see if they have them. The actually come in two pieces that snap together with the fabric between them. They come in a variety of colours and you might find them if you Google plastic purse grommets.

If you are looking for plastic rings that you use to attach the handle of the purse to the body, I would think you could use the 2" rings that are used for macrame. I did a google search and this is the first thing that popped up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-12-RED-2...-/370275222325 If these rings are what you are looking for, just do a google search for macrame plastic rings

I've made that purse and they are drapery rings. JoAnn's have them and many craft stores. The problem I had was that after using the purse the fabric did not hold in the rings and they kept coming loose. I finally just took them out and redid purse.
