Default QOV my way

dscn0329.jpg This is the QOV I did for my client who is a Marine. I would like a label for it but I'm terrible at
making labels. Is there a site I could check for a label? It is about 60 x 72 so should cover from chin to toes.

I don't know about labels, i think the QOV website may have some examples. but I wanted to say you made a great quilt and your friend will be very pleased!

I like the quilt pattern you chose. I also like the size. I found a fabric panel of quilt labels at a quilt show. You cut out the label and hand wrote the details for the recipient. Please share the pattern name if you used one. I would love to make this quilt.
thank you!

If Ctrysass doesn't get back to us Copycat, the scale is quite different than what I'm used to, but that is a traditional block called "Water Wheel" among other names. Free patterns and tutorials can be easily brought up that way.

I made my first from Ruby McKim's 101 Patchwork book, it was called Milky Way there. Ruby was one of the newspaper quilt columns. I've done several since then, is a great donation project and there are all sorts of things you can do alternating colors and such.

I have an extra preprinted QOV label. Send me a PM with your address and I'll pop it into the mail to you. Your quilt is lovely and I know it will be appreciated.

BTW: I order the labels from Spoonflower. Just in case anyone wants to know. I think you can also order labels that are not QOV related, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I don't know about labels for QOV quilts but I love this Snail's Trail quilt.

Thank you LENA! Spoonflower is just what I was thinking of. I'll order from them. The pattern is free from AQS. Sweet Dreams Baby Quilt with owl quilt label. Correction on the size, it is 50 x 70 and I used a wool/cotton batting. Should keep an 84 year old warm. Thanks also for your compliments. I found this pattern last yr. but kept finding others that were great also. Last month I decided to just do it went with my 1st choice.

Great looking quilt!

I just do simple labels, hand written with a permanent pigma pen. Then I sew it into a back corner.
