I was in Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago and found the calculator on the clearance shelf. It was regular 39.99 and it was marked down to 13.99. I put that little thing in my basket. I haven't opened it yet to see what it's all about. Maybe someone can tell me about it. Thanks

They just had a webinar about that calculator on HowtoQuilt.com. I don't have the calculator but it's supposed to calculate the exact amount of fabric you would need by calculating the different types of blocks you have in your quilt. Check out the site to see if the webinar is still available.

Thanks for posting this!! I bought this silly calculator a year ago and every time I get ready to use it i end up feeling like I need to take a class-lol. Hopefully the webinar will be enough instruction for me!

Rcvd it as a gift years ago and keep it near me all the time. Just love it. Don't use it JUST for calculating fab but other measurements too. Hate math!!

Thanks for the link, I bought one at Hancocks 2 years ago, they were marked down to $8.00 on clearance. It is still in the pkg, have not opened it.

Once you start using it, you will love it. I have one that lives in my purse and I gave one to my mom. She loves hers too. It seems complicated but once you start, it gets sssoooooo much easier. And I really love that the instruction book is stored in the back of the calculator. Always available for quick looks when I want to try something new. Well worth the money - even at full price.
